Central Campus Fishing Adventure

To wrap up 2025, Central Campus students suggested something special—a beginner’s fishing trip with Fish & Game Otago. The idea was simple: an activity where everyone could join in.

We spent the day at a private spot learning how to cast a line. There were plenty of laughs as we practiced, shared kai while we fished, and enjoyed the sunshine together. A few lucky students caught rainbow trout, and each person could take one fish home. Three students even had fresh trout for dinner that night!

It was a relaxed, fun way to finish the year—good food, good company, and a great experience outdoors.
