The OP Education Foundation Trust wants to hear about it!

The OP Education Foundation Trust (OPEFT) supports students and staff with projects that advance learning, enhance the learning environment, and contribute to educational excellence. This includes funding opportunities for international knowledge exchange.

OPEFT has $50,000 to distribute across four funding rounds this year, awarding grants up to $5000. The grants can include travel expenses.

Past grant recipient, Hanri de Bruin, was funded to attend the International Summer Academy in Engineering for Women in Austria.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. I have been able to take up this amazing opportunity because of the financial help of Otago Polytechnic’s Education Foundation,” says Hanri.

Your application should discuss how your project benefits OP and the wider community. Your project must also align with one or more of the following focus areas:

• Advancement of learning beyond standard experiences.
• Enhancement of the learning environment or experience.
• Support for projects aligned with educational excellence for students and staff.
• Innovation, growth, and development initiatives.
• Contribution to sustainability.
• Leadership courses and activities building personal and professional competency.

The current funding round closes 31 July. 

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and assessed after each quarterly deadline. If you miss the current deadline, your application will be considered in the following round.
