Dyslexia-Friendly Quality Mark

Otago Polytechnic has been awarded the Dyslexia-Friendly Quality Mark (DFQM) for our Student Success, Business School, Foundation, and Design Communication and Culture areas.

The DFQM is an initiative to help Otago Polytechnic staff meet the needs of neurodiverse students.

As part of this process, staff get training in techniques to make course materials more accessible to students with dyslexia.

Below you can read the Otago Polytechnic Dyslexia-Friendly Charter, either summarised in one page or as a full-text document.

If you are looking for learning support for dyslexia, please get in touch with Accessibilty Services. You do not need a formal diagnosis to request support.
